Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the design and production teams by creating and assessing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and inspection procedures for manufactured and procured products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Review and Analysis: Reviewing documentation to ensure delivery of quality products to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Analyzing and resolving process issues.
  • Corrective Action Leadership: Leading corrective action meetings, identifying trends, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Conducting assessments and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Customer and Supplier Engagement: Engaging with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilizing lean initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Product Acceptability: Making final decisions on product acceptability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or higher.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Collaboration and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Security Clearance: Security clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Certification: ASQ CQE certification.
  • Electronics and Root Cause Analysis: Experience in electronics and root cause analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with J-STD-001/IPC-A-610.
