Job Summary

  We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This individual will lead a team of up to 12 maintenance technicians in a fast-paced injection molding and paint operation for the heavy truck industry.


About the Role

">

  As an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will establish departmental goals to support production, program launches, and strategic initiatives. You will lead your team to achieve key performance indicators (KPI) targets and maintain the manufacturing assets of the plant. Additionally, you will provide training and continuous improvement development opportunities for your team members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the health and safety of your team members and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO14000 and IATF.">
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.">
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to address equipment-related issues and optimize workflows.">
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans that drive growth and profitability.">
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and creativity among your team members.">

Requirements

  To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • ">
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in the heavy truck industry or a related field.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.">
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology, or a journeyman card in a related trade.">
  • Experience working with PLC controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.">
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.">
