Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:
The Utilities Director oversees all aspects of the Sugarbush owned Utilities, including financial management, safety protocols, compliance with regulations, permitting, construction, maintenance, operations, customer relations, reporting, staff supervision, public relations, regulatory affairs, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate maintenance of infrastructure, including Water/Wastewater plants, pumps, pump systems, compressors, electrical components, telemetry, etc.
- Collaborate with the Facilities department on snow removal/storm water plans and road maintenance
- Maintain parts inventory for critical repair components
- Compile and update maintenance schedules and documentation
- Address environmental and safety concerns at facilities
- Monitor utility operations to ensure compliance with permit requirements and regulations
- Supervise/assist service line breaks, plant equipment malfunctions, and emergencies
- Oversee major construction and repair projects, including work by outside contractors

Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 2 State of Vermont Wastewater License, Grade 4B State of Vermont Water License, and 5+ years of experience managing water and wastewater treatment systems
- Vermont State Lab certification and ability to maintain training hours and hazmat emergency response
- Ability to use equipment such as pumps, compressors, and laboratory equipment
- Good mechanical skills and general knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Availability to work weekends and holidays, and access remote areas without mechanical assistance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
