About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team at UTHealth as a Pediatric Surgical Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient symptoms, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our pediatric surgery team
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies, make medical recommendations, and refer patients as necessary
  • Facilitate patient education, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
