Job Summary

The Critical Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in providing advanced care to patients with congenital heart disease. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to inform treatment decisions
  • Provide high-quality, specialized care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting and acute care units
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care and congenital heart disease management
Requirements:
  • Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Specialty certification in pediatrics or pediatric critical care
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing with completion of a post-masters APRN program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care or a related field
