Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Medical Technologist to join our team at Montrose Regional Health. As a Laboratory Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

About the Role:

  • Apply techniques used in the field of blood banking, hematology, serology, chemistry, and morphological examinations.
  • Record test results, quality control, and remedial action.
  • May engage in research and development of new laboratory procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory or equivalent education and training.
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 months of training in each specialty in which the individual performs high complexity testing.
  • Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
