Pulmonary Nurse Specialist

At Covenant Health Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonary Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Complex Medical Unit at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
About the JobWe offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
As a Pulmonary Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with respiratory, cardiac, and other complex medical conditions. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and professionalism.
About the Role- Complete nursing histories and initiate patient education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Evaluate care outcomes and make adjustments as needed
- Solve problems and coordinate unit/patient care assignments
- Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters
You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a supportive and close working relationship with physicians. We encourage open communication and dialogue regarding individualized care to meet each patient's needs.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Tennessee State RN license
- CPR certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
