Job Description

As a Pulmonary Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care within our assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.

">

Your duties will include completing nursing history and initiating patient education, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, implementing plans of care appropriate to diagnosis, evaluating care outcomes, problem-solving, and coordinating unit/patient care assignments.

">

You will also introduce new employees/students to unit routines, participate in unit-based committees, demonstrate competence in performing critical skills, supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters, follow policies, procedures, and safety standards, and complete required education assignments annually.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse (RN) and hold a valid Tennessee State RN license.

CPR certification is also required.
