Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Family Medicine Manor Ridge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and providers.

Job Description

Location: Family Medicine Manor Ridge, Lancaster, PA

Hours: Full-time, with a rotation of one evening per week and Saturdays

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for visits by using appropriate rooming standards tools
  • Administer injections and medications as prescribed by providers
  • Assist providers with procedures and exams
  • Perform point-of-care testing and remove sutures as needed
  • Provide clinical advice and authorize prescription refills
  • Assist with test tracking and monitoring overdue results
  • Maintain exam rooms and medical instruments
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution
  • CPR Certification required
  • Valid driver's license required for regional positions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One to two years of Medical Assistant experience in a primary or specialty care physician's office
