About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary General Education Teacher to join our team at Philadelphia Hebrew Public. Job Responsibilities and Characteristics
  • Develop and implement high-quality Common Core aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles;
  • Analyze student assessment data to inform instructional decisions and adapt teaching strategies;
  • Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment, maximizing learning time through effective management;
  • Provide personalized support to students, promoting their growth and development;
  • Demonstrate a mastery of instructional subject area, with an undergraduate major or minor or graduate degree in the subject;
  • Evidence of student achievement growth in previous teaching roles;
  • Foster collaboration among faculty members to ensure curricular coherence and promote professional growth;
  • Engage families through regular communication and relationship building;
  • Cultivate a passion for teaching and learning, inspiring students to reach their full potential;
  • Possess a deep commitment to all students, believing in their ability to learn and achieve high academic standards;
  • Embody boundless energy and enthusiasm for working with students and adults alike;
  • Showcase a solutions-oriented mindset and flexibility when facing challenges;
  • Promote diversity as a vital element in the life of our school.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Masters degree preferred;
  • Elementary lead teaching experience in a classroom setting required;
  • Hold PA teacher certification or working towards certification is required;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. The starting base salary begins at $50,000, with opportunities for higher earnings based on experience and qualifications.
