About Us

We are seeking an Experienced Educational Liaison to join our team. As an Educational Liaison, you will serve as a liaison between the healthcare and school settings to ensure the neurodevelopmental and special education needs of patients with heart disease are being met.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to identify patients requiring educational liaison support.
  • Educate families about neurodevelopmental and special education needs/services and their rights within the school system.
  • Advocate for needed services and accommodations on behalf of patients with heart disease.
  • Develop programs and resources to educate school personnel about specific diagnoses and related needs.
  • Review neurodevelopmental, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational reports and IEPs.
  • Support positive school re-entry after hospitalization and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years experience working in K-12 school setting required.
  • Preferred teaching certification, Special education certification, or Education Administration certification.
  • Experience in special education or administration is preferred.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $63,000 - $75,000 per year.
