Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a temporary to permanent role.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Required: Steel-toed footwear

  • The individual will manage incoming and outgoing shipments across various distribution centers.
  • Overseeing the Domestic Shipping Procedures.
  • Engaging in negotiations with freight service providers.
  • Recognizing shipping challenges and executing timely solutions.
  • Utilizing UPS and FedEx platforms for shipping operations, including label printing and affixing them to packages.
  • Executing order selection, packaging, and loading/unloading responsibilities.
  • Ensuring a tidy and systematic workspace within the warehouse.
  • Recording Bills of Lading into the system.
  • Operating a forklift for product movement as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer usage, particularly for data entry in MS Excel.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving is essential.
  • Familiarity with FedEx or UPS shipping software is required.
  • Capability to operate a sit-down forklift is necessary.
