Job Title: Dietitian

Centra Health is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care using medical nutrition therapy for assigned patient population.
  • Develop and conduct education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, students, peers, and the public.
  • Precept dietetic interns and complete nutrition assessments for all assigned patients.
  • Document relevant, accurate, and timely information in the patient's electronic health record.
  • Develop and implement an individualized portfolio plan based on performance indicators.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's Degree).
  • Completed CDR-approved dietetic internship to qualify to take registered exam leading to Registered Dietitian, or entry level Dietitian may be Registration eligible.
  • Basic computer skills and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office.
