The Claims Resolution Specialist will be responsible for addressing all customer claims related to damages, missing items, or other concerns that arise during the moving process. This role is essential in maintaining compliance with the agreed-upon insurance policies, fostering positive relationships with clients, and ensuring that the company does not incur unnecessary expenses. Your contributions will be vital in delivering outstanding service to our claims customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage claims communications with professionalism and respect throughout the entire process.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly resolving issues and keeping clients informed about their claim status.
- Exhibit positivity, patience, and empathy during the claims process.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive records of open claims, including relevant documentation and images.
- Document expenses related to resolved claims and maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
- Track and log repair services and associated costs, ensuring precision and quality.
- Coordinate with repair services to obtain quotes, schedule repairs, and oversee payments.
- Source appropriate replacement items for claims when necessary.
- Calculate accurate payouts based on customer assessments and depreciation.
- Uphold the PDX Movers brand and embody the company's core values.
- Address additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to meet the evolving demands of the business.
