About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flow Manager to join our team at Alleima Special Metals. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for managing the flow of work products through our manufacturing processes and overseeing the management of union personnel on multiple shifts.

Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing tactical production plans and controls to meet strategic planning objectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, completing routine audits to assess safety, quality, and productivity, and guiding and mentoring Working Leads to effectively implement production plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement tactical production plans and controls to meet strategic planning objectives.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and complete routine audits to assess safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Guide and mentor Working Leads to effectively implement production plans and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Foster and mentor the continued efforts of a learning and changing organization, including employment development and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for work centers within the area of responsibility.
  • Daily communication and reporting on KPI performance to the management team, and develop action plans for improvement when necessary.
  • Implement company strategic programs and objectives as assigned.
About You

We are looking for someone with solid experience from the manufacturing industry combined with relevant and adequate knowledge in leading a production department. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but a combination of secondary education and equivalent work experience will be considered.

You must have strong leadership competences, be able to mobilize the team to build an empowered environment with aiming the excellence and a high-performing organization. Excellent communication skills are also essential for the success in this position.

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is $73,000 to $108,300 annually with a 10% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility. Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance, company-paid disability and life insurance, paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 5% company contribution and 50% company match for the first 6% you invest.
