Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Chemist-Color Matching to join our team at Critical Fit Recruiting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a company product specialty, serving as a technical expert in color science, and collaborating with internal teams and management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Directly interact and communicate with external customers to value sell the company's adhesives, understanding their needs and application details.
  • R&D Support: Support R&D projects critical to business growth, road mapping technology and business development, and generating test plans and/or experiments.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations on projects/technologies for external customers, internal teams, and management.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel with sales representatives to develop a first-hand understanding of customer needs and application details, and collaborate with staff individually and/or on team efforts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Color Science.
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of demonstrated related experience, preferably in an adhesive or color environment.
  • Skills: Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills, proven leadership, sense of urgency, self-starter, project management, and laboratory skills.
  • Travel: Potential for up to 30% overnight travel per year.
