Customer Service Specialist

At Ferrellgas, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a culture of teamwork and growth. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound telephone calls, ensuring a high-quality experience for both internal and external customers.
  • Work with customers to sustain and improve business relationships, using fact-finding sales methods to customize Ferrellgas programs and services to meet their needs.
  • Ensure accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of all customer account information.
  • Handle customer issues by following our customer complaint resolution policy and perform soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more year(s) of customer service experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
