Job Summary

Concord NH is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter Paramedic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Operate firefighting and rescue equipment, including aerial ladders and watercraft
  • Conduct searches of fire building interiors for rescue of trapped persons
  • Evacuate people from hazardous areas, such as burning buildings and damaged motor vehicles
  • Perform basic and advanced emergency medical care, including administering medications and performing procedures
  • Record personal and medical information of patients
  • Complete digital media and medical-legal documentation of every patient care contact
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • New Hampshire EMS Providers License - Paramedic
  • New Hampshire Firefighter II certification
  • Hazardous Materials - Operations certification
  • Nationally Registered Paramedic certification
  • Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) certification
Working Conditions

As a Firefighter Paramedic, you will be exposed to a variety of working conditions, including:

  • Wet or humid conditions
  • Work in high precarious places
  • Fumes or airborne particles
  • Outdoor weather conditions
  • Extreme cold and heat
