a. Maintain a Christ-like attitude in all interactions with staff, volunteers, coworkers, clients, and others.

b. Participate in regular staff meetings with the Elder Care Center Director.

c. Adhere to the established policies, rules, and regulations of the Diocese of Orlando and Blessed Trinity parish.

d. Inform the Elder Care Center Director of any changes or concerns regarding client health and/or behavior.

e. Foster a positive and respectful work environment by refraining from foul language, arguing, gossiping, complaining, or negative attitudes.

f. Ensure timely attendance and limit personal cell phone use during working hours.

Responsibilities

a. Participate in regular staff meetings, including one-to-one meetings with the Elder Care Center Director.

b. Be attentive to the individual needs of all clients.

c. Assist with activities, providing small activities for clients who require them, and ensuring they are not left alone without engagement.

d. Collaborate with the Activity Director to plan and implement activities, bringing new ideas and offering assistance as needed to keep clients entertained.

e. Assist with setup, serving, and cleanup of meals and snacks.

f. Maintain client safety, security, and well-being at all times.

g. Assist with organizing activity supply rooms, outdoor patio supplies, and other tasks assigned by the Director.

h. Support clients with toileting needs, including changing briefs and cleaning the client as necessary.

i. Maintain client dignity and respect by refraining from speaking loudly and asking if they need assistance with toileting.

j. Take temperatures of both refrigerators daily and document the results.

k. Complete daily food intake forms for the assigned time period.

l. Participate in training provided by the center nurse and director.

m. Ensure all confidential information is secured in the nurses' and/or Director's office.
