Job Summary

CAREvity, LLC is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Aide to join our team. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement client care plans in accordance with home care agency policy and procedure.
  • Participate in client case conferences as requested.
  • Submit information regarding client care plans to the Home Care Supervisor promptly.
Requirements
  • High school graduation or GED required.
  • Certified Nurse Aide certification obtained through successfully completing an approved program.
  • Three years of full-time or part-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or three years of full-time or part-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting.
  • Evidence of sympathetic attitude toward elderly care.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attends 8 hours of personal care-oriented in-services per year.
  • Participates in professional meetings when directed.
  • A criminal history check conducted before being offered work with this agency.
  • Ability to work closely supervised to ensure competence in providing client care.
  • Must have own car.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to read & write English.
  • Must be physically able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations due to client's medical conditions.
  • Must adhere to assigned and agreed-upon work schedule.
  • Must be able to drive up to 50+ miles per day.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
  • Must agree to a Competency Testing.
  • Must have a five-year work history.
Additional Requirements
  • Certified Nurse Aides must pass a competency examination with at least an 80% or better.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.
  • Must possess the ability to operate a smartphone.
