POSITION SUMMARY: The Chief Operating Officer acts as the principal connection between the executive management and all divisions within Black Lion Investment Group Inc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to formulate and implement the strategic vision of the organization. (Transform the company's aspirations into practical objectives while ensuring alignment across all operational units.)
· Supervise daily operations, guaranteeing efficiency, scalability, and ongoing enhancement across all sectors, including finance, marketing, property management, and construction.
· Cultivate a culture of teamwork and communication among all divisions to ensure unified execution of the company's goals. (Eliminate barriers and foster synergy among teams to drive overall success.)
· Evaluate operational performance indicators and execute strategies to refine processes, minimize expenses, and boost productivity. (Ensure that all operational initiatives are in line with the company's long-term strategic objectives.)
· Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of department leaders, ensuring that each division is prepared to achieve its goals and contribute to the company's overall success.
· Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to secure the company's long-term viability and growth.
· Collaborate closely with the CFO/Controller to oversee the organization's financial performance, ensuring budget adherence and achievement of financial targets.
· Propel innovation throughout the organization, recognizing new growth opportunities and ensuring that the company remains a leader in the commercial real estate sector.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
· Over 10 years of experience in a COO role or a comparable executive position within the commercial real estate or related sectors.
· Experience in the luxury real estate market or a similar domain is highly advantageous.
2. Skills and Competencies:
· Strong strategic thinking capabilities with a proven ability to convert vision into actionable plans.
· Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a history of promoting collaboration and driving operational excellence.
· Comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate development process, from site acquisition to project completion.
· Outstanding financial expertise, with experience in budget management and financial performance oversight.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
