Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Leader to join our team in Cardiac Medicine & Surgery. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement professional development programs for nurses in Cardiac Medicine & Surgery
  • Collaborate with Nurse Directors to identify learning needs and develop programs to meet those needs
  • Design and deliver educational programs to enhance nursing practice and patient care
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice

Requirements:

  • MSN or MS with a major in Nursing or DNP or PhD with a major in Nursing or BSN with a Master's degree in a related field
  • Specialty certification in Cardiac Medicine & Surgery
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiac Medicine & Surgery with demonstrated leadership progression
