Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Manager to lead the development and implementation of educational programs for nurses in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, leadership, and research, with a passion for promoting evidence-based practice and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and implement educational programs for nurses in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with nursing leaders and staff to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform educational program development and evaluation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff on best practices and research-based interventions

Requirements:

  • MSN or MS with a major in Nursing or related field
  • Specialty certification in Cardiac Medicine or Surgery
  • 5+ years of experience in nursing education, leadership, or research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
