Sanitation Technician Food Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at The Employment Firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our food manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of production areas, equipment, and tools to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Utilize industrial cleaning supplies and equipment effectively to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of sanitation tasks.
- Assist in the fabrication of cleaning schedules and protocols tailored to specific areas of the facility.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, including moving equipment or materials during the cleaning process.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and materials used for compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is required.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- Experience with food processing environments is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with sanitation duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Pay and Shift:
Day shift Sunday - Wednesday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm o $20.00/hour
Night shift Thursday through Sunday - 6 pm to 4:30 am o $20.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential = $21.00
