Job Title: Lead IT

Bayforce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead IT professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing IT infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and create designs for manufacturing IT infrastructure
  • Implement and support designs using a wide range of vendors and technologies, including Cisco Catalyst, VMWare, Dell, and Palo Alto
  • Assess, design, configure, and commission network and computer systems for the manufacturing environment
  • Lead a team of engineers and teach the skills necessary to work on these manufacturing systems
  • Interface with clients for design meetings and conference calls
  • Travel to customer sites to assess, troubleshoot, and upgrade manufacturing infrastructure (30% travel)
Requirements:
  • 2-8 years of industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  • Virtualization experience, including Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi
  • Windows Server configuration experience, including Domain Controllers and Server setup
  • At least some experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in setup, configuration, or design of at least one of the following platforms: Cisco Catalyst/ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMWare ESXi, Stratus Server, or Windows Server
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in any of these technologies
  • Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and working with others
