We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Operations Specialist to join our team at Clean Harbors, the leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout North America.

Job Summary

The Environmental Operations Specialist will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage.

This role is part of our expanding Lithium Battery Recycling Business, and the successful candidate will play a key role in removing batteries from retail items received for consolidation and repacking them for recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Loading and unloading route trucks.
  • Preparing waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
  • Managing inventory orders and receiving process.
  • General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Storing waste in a safe and proper manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.
  • At least one year of related labor and computer experience.
  • Able to drive trucks within facility.
  • Forklift skills preferred.
