Patient Support Specialist

We are seeking a Patient Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Patient Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting nursing staff with patient mobilization and transfers
  • Helping patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Recording data accurately and efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Equivalent/GED or vocational education as a nursing assistant (Preferred)
  • Experience as a nursing assistant or in a related area in a healthcare facility (Preferred)
  • Able to lift and transfer patients safely and efficiently
Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $48,000 per year
