Management Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Support Specialist to join our team at the Air National Guard Units. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and direct the Group Commander's Support Staff functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Train personnel in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
- Participate in special studies and projects relating to planning, coordinating, and analyzing the effectiveness/efficiency of the Group CSS in meeting Air Force Administration program goals.
- Analyze, interpret and evaluate current and proposed methods and procedures for business processes performed.
- Research, consolidate, and summarize budgetary data from source documents and reports for use in preparing budget estimates and annual financial plans.
- Plan, organize, and oversee personnel, unit training, and administrative programs management within the Commander's Support Staff (CSS).
- Establish metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points.
- Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and disposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
- Review internal operating procedures for personnel and information management to ensure effectiveness and compliance with current directives.
- Serve as central point of contact to provide authoritative explanations of personnel and/or manpower related requirements, regulations, and procedures and to assist in resolving operational problems involving all functional areas of personnel.
- Compile personnel and manpower transactions according to the specific, established requirements of each case.
- Effectively ensure the accuracy and quality control of all documentation affecting manpower and personnel transactions.
- Develop CSS consolidated resource plan for staff support to include budget, equipment, computers, supplies and required services.
- Interpret source information and properly apply it to the budget.
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government.
- Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: collaborating with Unit Training and Deployment Managers to identify, schedule, conduct, and document Services specific training and align priorities with wing requirements to ensure all objectives are fulfilled.
- Must maintain proper security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
