Position Overview:
The LCMS division within the R&D Discovery and Technology Futures group is seeking a committed and enthusiastic LCMS Service Technician to become a vital part of our in-house team, delivering essential support for mass spectrometry and HPLC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical services, including repairs and preventive maintenance for LCMS and HPLC systems.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts, including ordering, tracking usage, and conducting physical counts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance operational processes.
- Stay informed on technical updates and bulletins from equipment manufacturers.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in electronics technology, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in operating, diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating complex analytical instruments is preferred.
- Familiarity with SCIEX, Thermo, or Bruker mass spectrometers is advantageous.

Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and related software, alongside a solid understanding of electrical/electronics, mechanics, and chemistry technology.
- Analytical mindset with a strong engineering aptitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and identify next steps independently.
- Adaptability to change with a positive attitude and constructive feedback.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to navigate around equipment, lift, push, crawl, and maintain a safe laboratory environment that evolves with operational needs.

- Potential exposure to biohazards as these instruments are utilized in environments dealing with human and animal biological materials.
