Job Overview

GroundLevel Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities, including scheduling and attending inspections, coordinating access and permits, and maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, forecasts labor and material needs, and conducts pre-task meetings with trade partners to review safety, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams and trade partners to ensure work plans, materials, tools, and processes are properly executed and meet GLC standards.
  • Anticipate and address potential challenges and issues, and develop corrective plans and actions to ensure project success.
  • Provide leadership and training to Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Foremen, and Field Crews to help them develop into future Superintendents.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, owners' reps, architects, engineers, suppliers, inspectors, and other employees assigned to the project.
