- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
- Utilize specialist construction management software.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the management of new construction, with a focus on multifamily projects.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, with a strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with project management software.
- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, as well as quality and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with different kinds of project teams.
