We are seeking an accomplished Advanced Wireless Systems Engineer to join our team at Peraton Labs, a leading provider of innovative solutions for government agencies, utilities, and commercial customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and prototype cutting-edge Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions for wireless systems.

About the Role:

  • Designing and Developing SDR Solutions: You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, modeling, and simulating RF signal processing algorithms for wireless system applications.
  • Implementing and Testing Prototypes: You will implement, debug, and test wireless application prototypes on third-party software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
  • Documenting and Communicating Results: You will write design documents, simulation reports, and system documentation, as well as communicate the results of your research through customer presentations and publications.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with a MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing SDR solutions.
  • Knowledge of Open Air Interface (OAI) or srsLTE software stacks.
  • Knowledge of LTE standards.
  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly.

Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000 annually, based on experience and other factors.
