We are seeking a highly skilled Senior High Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Compass Systems, Inc.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing high power systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in pulsed-power and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop engineering procedures and controls for high power systems
  • Interface with program contractors, vendors, and government representatives on technical aspects of engineering projects
  • Research and assist with design and integration of high power transmitter systems
  • Operate and maintain high voltage equipment used for electromagnetic capability testing
  • Plan and conduct EMC simulation testing, data collection, processing, and analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
  • Experience with RF systems, including radars and magnetrons
  • Proven track record as a team lead
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills
  • Experience working with high power systems
  • Familiarity with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing
  • Previous experience working with military aircraft
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
