About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team at UniFirst First Aid + Safety. As a key member of our Safety Training Department, you will be responsible for delivering various safety training classes to our clients, including CPR/First Aid, Forklift Safety, and Fire Extinguisher Safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safety training classes to clients, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Drive company-provided vehicles to and from client locations, maintaining a safe and professional demeanor.
  • Communicate with clients and prospects via phone and email to schedule training sessions and promote safety services.
  • Utilize electronic devices to bill clients and complete training details, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to increase safety training offerings and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients to maintain OSHA compliance, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years of experience as a safety instructor preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Current AHA certification as a CPR/AED/First Aid instructor and BLS credentialing as required by state law.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to teach effectively in an adult learning environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel within designated territories.
