Metasys Technologies, Inc. is in search of a talented professional with 3-5 years of experience in CAD, particularly skilled in AutoCAD, and knowledgeable in engineering documentation management. This position is focused on overseeing project documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies, and assisting with engineering drafting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant standards concerning Engineering Documentation Management.
  • Communicate documentation requirements to clients, including the receipt, duplication, distribution, and tracking of project documentation.
  • Evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), work orders, approve or reject tasks, and inform the initiator/author upon completion.
  • Examine and process documents, ensuring compliance with document management practices and retention policies.
  • Manage SharePoint sites and project files, facilitate review and approval processes, and transition completed project packages to an electronic file repository.
  • Screen transmittals, project documentation, and turnover packages for adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and coordinate the electronic document database, providing training for new users as necessary.
  • Resolve issues related to document management systems and project-related challenges.
  • Act as a general resource for inquiries regarding activities, policies, and procedures.
  • Create detailed drawings of building modifications and expansions, including plans, sections, and elevations.
  • Collect supporting data and prepare detailed maps of institutional properties, indicating dimensions and specifications.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance within the client’s training system.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of CAD experience, especially with AutoCAD.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, complemented by advanced coursework in engineering drafting, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with engineering documentation in Veeva is advantageous.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
