The University of Miami Health System is presenting a remarkable opportunity for a full-time Assistant Professor in Clinical Neurology within the Pediatric Neurology Division.

  • The chosen candidate will deliver care across both inpatient and outpatient settings at affiliated hospitals and clinics.
  • Responsibilities will include assessing and managing conditions such as developmental delays, learning disorders, seizures, migraines, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases in pediatric patients.
  • This position will report directly to the Head of the Child Neurology Division and the Neurology Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and treat neurological disorders in children
  • Conduct follow-up care for patients with childhood neurological issues
  • Actively participate in the Neurology Residency Training Program
  • Provide educational guidance to students, residents, and fellows in various clinical environments.
  • Engage in resident and fellow activities and events
  • Supervise pediatric residency program staff members
  • Prepare and present educational materials
  • Contribute to research projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification).
  • Eligibility for a valid medical license in Florida
  • Board certification in Neurology
  • Expertise in EEG interpretation
