Advantage Personnel is seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Fertilization Specialist for a local organization focused on the upkeep and enhancement of beautiful outdoor spaces for both commercial and residential clients.
The starting wage is $20 per hour, with potential increases to $25 per hour upon securing permanent employment, along with opportunities for further raises after obtaining the necessary certifications.
Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts, and you will benefit from paid lunch breaks. The company also offers health benefits and year-end bonuses.
Key Responsibilities of a Lawn Care Fertilization Specialist:
- Administer fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to lawns and landscapes utilizing industry-standard equipment
- Assess appropriate application rates and prepare chemical mixtures accordingly
- Adhere to established protocols for chemical handling, transportation, storage, and disposal
- Assist the arborist division during less busy periods
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, maintaining enthusiasm and teamwork
- Operate company vehicles to various client locations and ensure secure storage of equipment during transport
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a clean driving record
- Willingness to undergo necessary testing for certification, which will be covered by the company, to further your career
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended durations
- Efficiency and precision in your work are crucial
- At least 3 months of experience in fertilization practices
- Reliable and self-motivated
