Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fertilizer Technician to join our team at Advantage Personnel. As a Lawn Care Professional, you will be responsible for applying fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to residential and commercial lawns and landscapes using standard industry application equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to residential and commercial lawns and landscapes
  • Calculate proper application rate and mix chemicals accordingly
  • Administer correct handling, transporting, storage, and disposal procedures for chemicals
  • Assist the arborist side of the company during slower times
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team
  • Drive company vehicle to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must have valid driver's license, car insurance, and decent driving record
  • Willingness to take required test to obtain application license at company's cost to further career
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods
  • Speed and quality of work is necessary
  • Must have at least 3 months of fertilizing experience
  • Reliable and self-motivated
