Overview:

At EMCOR Government Services, we specialize in delivering comprehensive multi-craft solutions tailored to our clients' specific needs. Our workforce is trained across various trades, including millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and more, ensuring we can meet diverse project requirements.

This role emphasizes hands-on engagement with the added responsibility of overseeing the installation, disassembly, or relocation of machinery and heavy equipment, adhering to layout plans, rigging plans, blueprints, or other schematics while performing a variety of tasks.

  • Establish work schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priorities, equipment availability, and personnel skills.
  • Evaluate employee performance and monitor work output.
  • Oversee tool and inventory management, ensuring optimal job site conditions.

  • Assemble and secure machines to foundations or structures.
  • Perform maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as necessary.
  • Possess additional skills in other trades to fulfill customer requirements.

Supervisory Duties:
Oversee the daily operations of a team ranging from one to twelve employees, reporting on performance in line with organizational policies and legal standards.

Responsibilities include training staff, planning and assigning tasks, and addressing or escalating issues as needed.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or GED; or four to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.


Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply logical reasoning to execute instructions provided in various formats. Capability to tackle problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
