RN Surgical Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Surgical Navigator to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a key member of our neurology department, you will play a vital role in developing and overseeing programs that ensure the highest level of patient care and clinical standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement care plans and therapy programs for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Oversee and ensure the implementation of plans of care, ensuring necessary resources and equipment are obtained as ordered.
- May supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Coordinate and maintain documentation as required, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 3-5 years of experience in neurology, cardiology, stroke, spine, or surgical nursing preferred.
- Experience in epilepsy or DBS surgery a plus.
