Position Overview:

As a Senior Telecommunications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming technology into opportunities within the realm of enterprise IT. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing the operational capabilities of key systems that are vital for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive installation and operational support for voice and data communication systems.
- Design, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain advanced communication systems.
- Perform configuration management of operating systems and security patches for both host and distributed systems, while executing incident response protocols during security breaches.
- Lead and guide a team of specialists in executing these functions effectively.
- Analyze customer requirements and propose modifications to existing technical architectures.
- Ensure compliance with established customer, industry, and agency standards.

Qualifications:

- Education: High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience.
- Required Skills: Ability to mitigate risks, manage costs and schedule variances, and effectively oversee large-scale, integrated projects.
- Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure alignment with system needs and accuracy.
- Establish formal procedures for coordinating system integration activities across multiple teams, ensuring comprehensive interface coverage.
- Document all interface designs in a standardized format and maintain accessible repositories for interface data.

Clearance Requirements:

- TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
- Required certifications include DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment Certification and Security+ or equivalent.

Work Environment:

- This position may involve physical activities such as lifting IT hardware and requires flexibility in movement for tasks like cable management.
- Travel may be necessary to fulfill mission requirements.
