Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative tooling for optical assembly utilizing CAD and mechanical engineering expertise.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development teams to establish manufacturing processes for precision optics assembly.
  • Oversee the development, documentation, and training of manufacturing processes to guarantee production quality.
  • Conduct optics metrology measurements to ensure process performance reliability.
  • Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) product transfer and provide optical process training.
  • Establish critical monitoring metrics in conjunction with the Quality Group.
  • Analyze Supplier SCARs and corrective actions.
Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Optics Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Familiarity with process control, precision optics metrology, and cleanroom standards.
  • Expertise in precision optomechanics design and semiconductor processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the design or manufacturing of precision optomechanical products.
  • Understanding of quality control methodologies, including Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Physics.
