Job Opportunity at Florida International University

We are seeking a qualified adjunct lecturer to join our team at the School of Accounting at Florida International University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing syllabus materials, compiling tests, assignments, and online discussion exercises, and submitting grades in accordance with university deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, including Accounting for Decisions, Accounting for Planning and Control, and Auditing.
  • Develop and manage syllabus materials, including tests, assignments, and online discussion exercises.
  • Submit grades in accordance with university deadlines.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Five years of work experience to teach undergraduates, or ten years of work experience to teach graduates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
