Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Member to teach upper-division Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Hospitality Management courses to students pursuing a Bachelor Degree. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hospitality Management and be able to teach in various modalities, including in-person, online, and blended classes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach lecture and laboratory sections
• Evaluate and advise students
• Develop curricula
• Maintain department standards
• Recruit and participate in retention of students
• Serve on committees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Management preferred
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality or Management and two (2) years of full-time industry work experience in Culinary Arts, Food Service or Hospitality; or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality or Management; and two (2) years of full-time industry work experience in Culinary Arts, Food Service or Hospitality.
• All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Experience with applied learning methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
• Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work well with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
