Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The LPN provides high-quality nursing care to patients with complex mental and physical illnesses in a hospital setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Provide health and wellness education to patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Current Virginia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or license eligible
  • Experience working as an LPN in a hospital or inpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
