Job Summary

The Local Delivery Driver - CDL B will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate a straight truck and navigate through various traffic and weather conditions
  • Load and unload products from the truck, using a hand cart or other equipment as needed
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required
  • Communicate with management and other team members to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred)
  • One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred
Working Conditions

The Local Delivery Driver - CDL B will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent stops and deliveries. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb on and off the truck, and work in confined spaces. The driver will also be required to work in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
