Job Summary:

Sysco is seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers.

  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand cart or other equipment as needed.

  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.

  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including pre-trip inspections and proper handling of products.

Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age.

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer delivery experience.

  • 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience.

  • 6 months of food and beverage experience.

  • 2 years of consistent work history.
