Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team at Hercules Industries, Inc. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for delivering finished steel coils to various locations, primarily within a local area. This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable company and contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver steel coils to designated locations, adhering to scheduled guidelines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Inspect loads prior to departure to ensure all cargo is securely fastened and ready for transport.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  • Record delivery and driving information, including tracking details and driver logs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL license with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with flatbed and 48' and 53' trailer operations, with a preference for steel hauling and delivery experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
  • Occasional work on elevated balconies and in noisy conditions.
