Job Title:
Automation Specialist

Clabber Girl, a leading retail and industrial supplier of baking powder in the United States, is seeking an Automation Specialist to provide technical support to the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing departments at their Terre Haute, IN manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused support on continuous improvement projects and rapid response to safety related activities
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems and machinery throughout the facility
  • Design, modify, and upgrade electrical control systems
  • Assist in the development of electrical skills in the maintenance department
  • Support engineering, maintenance, and capital projects as directed

Requirements:

An engineering related Associates Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience

5+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs (MicroLogix or SLC500) or Siemens PLCs

Familiarity with Keyence or Cognex vision systems (barcode readers)

Work Environment:
Climate controlled and clean environment, can be dusty at times since they manufacture baking powder

Shift:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 - 4:30 or 7:00 - 5:30 (4 days/week, 10 hour shifts). Occasional overtime will be expected dependent upon project demands.
