Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee detailed project estimates and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Interpret blueprints and project specifications to formulate precise estimates.
  • Execute material take-offs and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
  • Employ software tools such as Bluebeam, on-screen take-offs, Timberline, and QuickBid for effective estimating.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to achieve project goals.
  • Engage in project bidding, delivering comprehensive and accurate estimates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Regularly assess and refine estimating methodologies to enhance precision and efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimating or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project estimation, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction estimating, material take-offs, subcontracting, and bidding processes.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Skilled in utilizing Bluebeam, on-screen take-offs, Timberline, and QuickBid.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
